Lake Wales, FL – SunRidge Management Group proudly celebrated the official Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of Alera at Hunters Glen on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, welcoming community partners, local leaders, and special guests to commemorate the opening of Lake Wales' newest luxury apartment community.

The Ribbon Cutting ceremony brought together distinguished guests, including Skip Alford, CEO of the Lake Wales Area Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development, Deva Simmons, candidate for Florida's 18th Congressional District, Chamber ambassadors and members, and representatives from the Lake Wales Police Department. Guests enjoyed charcuterie by Katherine's Cocina, admired beautiful décor by Ely's Balloon Designs, toured the model apartment and community amenities, and had the opportunity to connect with the Alera at Hunters Glen team as we officially celebrated the community's Grand Opening and welcomed guests to experience everything Alera at Hunters Glen has to offer.

The ceremony featured remarks from several key leaders, including Skip Alford and Whitney Miller, Vice President of Marketing for SunRidge Management Group, who spoke about the significance of the community and the collaborative effort that made the project possible. Also in attendance were Tim Ware, Asset Manager for Alera at Hunters Glen; Casey Wright, Vice President at SunRidge Management Group; Brittney Johnson, Assistant Vice President at SunRidge Management Group; Community Manager Jamilia Jones; Leasing Professional Keilyn; Leasing Professional Nayelhin; and the entire Alera at Hunters Glen team.

Following the Ribbon Cutting, guests returned later that afternoon for the community's Grand Opening Celebration from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The festivities featured tacos from The Taco Boss, sweet treats from Repicci's Italian Ice, interactive photo opportunities by Evolve Entertainment, yard games provided by J&J Party Rentals, and music from DJ Bush Entertainment, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for attendees of all ages.
